CJ EMULOUS
CJ Emulous is an internationally known Christian rap artist, speaker, and evangelist carrying a Holy & Hyphy sound that is shaking up a generation. As a member of the GLO Collective alongside Miles Minnick, CJ brings a high-energy, gospel-centered experience everywhere he goes—using music, message, and testimony to point people to Jesus.
His story is one of the reasons he connects so deeply with audiences. He went to prison facing a 12-year sentence, and it was there that CJ encountered the transformative power of God. Prior to that, he had been scouted to play professional basketball, and during his case multiple coaches wrote the judge on his behalf. On sentencing day, CJ was ultimately released directly into a college basketball program — a rare second chance that completely shifted the direction of his life and shaped who he is today: a Christian rap artist, evangelist, speaker, and influencer using his story, platform, and music to impact culture and bring hope wherever he goes.
CJ’s momentum has only grown. In 2025, as part of the GLO movement with Miles Minnick, he played a role in one of the biggest moments in Christian hip-hop history — becoming part of the first collective to place a solo Christian rap artist on the Rolling Loud stage — a milestone that helped open the door for the entire genre.
He has also performed and toured with major names like Lecrae, Elevation Rythm, Andy Mineo, Hulvey, Jesus Culture, Hillsong Y&F, Bethel Music, 1K Phew, and more, bringing a high-impact presence to festivals, churches, schools, and arenas across the country.
With a rapidly growing international audience, a bold West Coast sound, and a story that hits deeper than the music, CJ Emulous continues to create moments that feel real, hit hard, and carry the unmistakable energy of Holy & Hyphy wherever he goes.
